Holy Thursday, April 1 - Mt. Zion will host a joint service with Central United Methodist Church. Join us at Mt. Zion at 6 pm.

Women's Kairos Weekend,  April 22-25 - It will be held at Leath Correctional
Institution in Greenwood, SC.There is a sign-up sheet on the credenza in the back of the sanctuary for the Prayer Vigil. You can also help by writing notes of encouragement. Address to Dear Friend and place in a blank envelope. Children should sign their letters only with their
first name and age.

Many cookies are needed. Cookies should be 2-2 1/2 inches in size. Select kinds which do NOT break easily. Also, use no frosting or powdered sugar toppings. Please put a dozen of completely cooled cookies in a separate plastic bag. The cookies and notes must be at Mt. Zion by Sunday, April 18th. Contact the church office (639-2101) if
you have a question.

Wednesday, April 28 - Our choir director, Amber James, will be presenting her graduate voice recital on April 28, 2010 at 8:00 P.M. in Edge Recital Hall at the University of Georgia. Please let Amber know if you are interested in attending in order to plan for carpooling.

2010 Flower Calendar - To reserve a date for presenting flowers, simply write your name on the calendar and indicate whether your gift is in memory or in honor of someone special. The calendar is located as you exit the sanctuary on the left by the organ.

Nursery Help Needed - We have open spots in our nursery schedule and would greatly appreciate help in filling these. You may volunteer for one Sunday every other month. You must be 18 years of age or older. We need two adults at a time in the nursery. If you can help us, please see Libba Carson or email her at carson804@att.net

Upper Room Daily Devotional Guide - If you need a resource for strengthening you spiritually, try using the Upper room. Copies are available on the credenza in the sanctuary. Feel free to take one. If you are able, and would like to make a donation for it, just leave a dollar in the basket located close by.

Church Newsletter, The Grapevine - will be printed every two months in 2010. all officers of the church and committee chairs are requested to communicate their activities. Everyone else is also welcome to leave submissions in the Newsletter box in the church office, email them to mtzion@nctv.com with subject as newsletter.

Grief Support Group - Meets on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. Please see Dr. David Connor or the pastor for more information
