Mount Zion Welcomes Dr. Kurt McPherson

Kurt McPherson was born and raised in North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Biology from Wake Forest University, a Master of Divinity degree in Counseling and Psychology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida.

He previously served as a hospital and Hospice chaplain and recently worked as a clinical director for a Hospice in Rock Hill.

Kurt was raised in a United Methodist family and is happy to be back in the United Methodist system. He enjoys playing with his children, playing golf, basketball, and soccer, and watching sports on TV.
